Students at Le Moyne College learned how to dress to impress Sunday, with an important goal in mind. JC Penney partnered with the Career Services Center for a “college suit up” event, helping students dress for career success.
Current students and recent graduates received 40 percent off professional clothing so they can be ready for whatever comes their way as they head off to their first jobs and internships.
“We all know how, when you’re in an outfit that you feel good about, your confidence level goes up,” said Meredith Tornabene, director of career advising at Le Moyne. “Obviously when you’re interviewing for a job or you’re showing up for your first day of work, you want to be confident.”
Thanks to the generosity of a few Le Moyne alums, we’re told 25 students received a $200 scholarship towards their purchases at JC Penney.
