(WSYR-TV) — The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Liverpool man with DWI after he drove his car into a house in the Town of Clay on Saturday morning.

Emmanuel Robinson, 30, was driving on Bear Road when he lost control of his car and hit a mailbox, street sign, shed, and a house before the car stopped around 8:30 a.m.

The residents inside the house were uninjured, but the house was badly damaged. The home is being inspected by the North Syracuse Fire Department, Town of Clay Codes Department, and a private contractor.

Robinson was also uninjured in the crash. He’s facing several charges including leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident.

He’s scheduled to appear in the Town of Clay Court on August 1.
