VOLNEY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — An empty building in Volney is being remodeled to become a new warehouse for MacKenzie-Childs.
The move and expansion is expected to open between 50-55 jobs.
MacKenzie-Childs is a popular home accessories brand known for its white and black checkered pattern.
The existing 200,931-square-foot warehouse building is already going through renovations to be ready for its new tenant, including a new parking lot, vehicle entrance for employees, insulation, lighting and office construction.
As the work finishes, MacKenzie-Childs will move in stages before the building is fully operational.
James Miller, MacKenzie-Childs Director of Supply Chain says, “the Volney warehouse facility will be an excellent site to house our growing fulfillment operations for years to come. We are pleased to be moving to this location and look forward to being fully operational very soon.”
Once MacKenzie-Childs finishes assessing exactly how many workers are needed, jobs will be posted to its career website.
