One man has died after being pulled from a burning home in the city of Syracuse early Monday morning.
According to fire investigators, James Sauta died from injuries Monday. Fire investigators say there were no working smoke detectors inside the home.
Firefighters say Sauta was not responsive when they found him inside the Shuart Avenue home.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries
Onondaga County 911 dispatchers say Syracuse Fire Department crews first got the call around 5:55 a.m., with Syracuse Police and AMR Ambulance also responded.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
