Man seriously injured in crash in Rome

ROME, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Oneida County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a serious crash on Monday.

The crash happened 3:40 p.m. on Monday in the area of Old Oneida Road between State Route 26 and Henderberg Road in the City of Rome.

Deputies say Peter Culter, 38, of Rome, was heading east on Old Oneida Road when he suddenly went off the road and into a ditch.

His car went airborne and rolled several times.

Culter was flown to a Syracuse hospital where he’s listed in serious condition.

The investigation continues.
