Man shot in Syracuse on Tuesday, police say

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A 46-year-old man was shot in the hand and butt Tuesday evening, according to Syracuse Police.

Officers were called to the 700 block of West Onondaga Street for a shots fired call where they located the victim.

He was transported to Upstate Hospital and is expected to survive, police said.

The investigation is active and ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department at (315) 422-5222.
