A 42-year-old man is recovering from multiple stab wounds after he told Syracuse Police a man walked up to him and started to fight him
Police say it happened at about 11:35 p.m. on Friday in along the 400-block of North Salina Street.
The victim sustained multiple cuts to the left side of his abdomen, arm, and leg.
Police say he will recover. His injuries are not life-threatening. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital by AMR Ambulance.
The suspect is described as being a black male, who is approximately 50 years of age. He was wearing blue shirt, black shorts, and red and black sneakers.
