SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Work is moving along on the project to replace the famed Carrier Dome roof, including bringing in the large crane the project will need.
The crane arrived in multiple parts Tuesday morning from the Port of New York-New Jersey. It will take about three weeks to build and will stretch hundreds of feet into the sky.
The crane is being used to put up the steel truss support around the building to hold the roof.
