Multiple vehicles broken into early Saturday morning in Syracuse’s Tipp Hill neighborhood: Police

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are investigating a series of car break-ins that happened Saturday morning in the Tipperary Hill neighborhood.

Officers responded to the St. Patrick’s Loft Apartments around 2:42 a.m. and found nine vehicles broken into, with property stolen from each, according to a Syracuse Police Public Information Officer.

Police said suspect information is limited at this time, but officers will be stepping up patrols in the area.

People living in the area are advised to take extra precautions in trying to prevent these types of crimes.

  • Park in a well-lit area
  • Lock your doors
  • Park near cameras when possible
  • Notify 911 anytime you observe suspicious people in and around parked vehicles
