Amazon is hiring more workers for its planned facility in Henrietta.

In new listings, posted on Tuesday, Amazon is looking for shift assistants. There is also a separate listing for military veterans looking to become shift assistants.

According to the listings, shift assistants are “responsible for daily management of department duties including: allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, providing work direction and communicating with internal and external suppliers.”

In early April, Amazon announced it would open a distribution facility on Clay Road south of Jefferson Road. The developer said they hoped to have the facility up and running within about six months.

Days after the announcement, Amazon posted openings for an area manager and a shift manager.
