New Sheriff’s Office correction officers sworn in Friday morning

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) 12 new members of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department were sworn in as deputies Friday morning.

Onondaga County Sheriff Eugene J. Conway conducted the swearing-in.

The new members being sworn in are:

  • Jonathan H.D. Borden (29) of East Syracuse
  • Brian M. Conner (28) of Liverpool
  • Matthew R. Doughty (37) of East Syracuse
  • Kasey M. Fellows (33) of Skaneateles
  • Kevin P. Finizio (28) of Liverpool
  • Megan S. Healey (22) of Clay
  • Dustin M. Holmes (28) of Baldwinsville
  • Marcus C. Hubbard (49) of Syracuse
  • Randall L. Plucinik (29) of Baldwinsville
  • James R. Schmunk (34) of Baldwinsville
  • Michael A. Vespi (43) of Syracuse

The new officers, who will work for the Correction Department, will attend the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office Custody/Correction Academy, which begins Monday September 9th.
