No one injured after late-night Oswego house fire

Local News

Oswego firefighters were called to Niagara Street, near West 4th Street, around 11:45 Monday night.

It took crews about 20 minutes to put out flames at the home. The fire chief says it originated in the basement and eventually extended to a truck in the driveway.

Firefighters say the people who live there reported hearing an explosion and seeing smoke coming out of the vents.

No one was injured but the residents were not allowed to go back and stay in the home Monday night. NewsChannel 9 was told they will be staying with family members.
