OCC wins its third straight NJCAA Men’s Lacrosse National Championship

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – 

The Dynasty continues for the OCC Men’s Lacrosse program. 

The Lazers won their 12th NJCAA National Title on Sunday defeating Nassau Community College 7-6 in overtime.

LaFayette native Percy Booth scored with just 17 seconds left in the first overtime, lifting OCC to their third straight National Championship.

It’s the first title for Lazers first-year head coach Eric Miccio.  Miccio, who took over this season for Chuck Wilbur won two National Titles with OCC as a player in 2009 & 2010.

OCC wraps up their season at 13-2.  It’s their 12th championship since 2006.
