Oneida County Executive urging caution when it comes to Woodstock 50

Local News

ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — As the organizers of Woodstock 50 work to get the festival back on track, they’re circling close to Vernon Downs as their venue of choice.

But now, Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente is urging caution. Picente says his biggest concern is the welfare of neighbors and visitors and with such a short timeframe, he thinks there will be major health and safety challenges.

The festival is slated to run from August 16th to 18th.
