Oneida High School Students working on tiny home project: Cool Schools

Local News

Students at Oneida High School are putting the skills they learned in carpentry and technology classes to practical use as they build a tiny home.

Students are in the final stages of the build, putting in the plumbing, loft bedroom and stonework for the fireplace.

“Obviously you get to do a lot of hands-on,” said Kyli Burton, a carpentry student, “you learn about stuff you can do with your house in future and it’s very impactful.”

The goal is to finish the project by the end of the school year, before putting it up for sale.
