Oneida Shores Beach closed due to high levels of E.coli

CICERO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Oneida Shores Beach in Cicero is closed to swimmer due to high levels of E.coli detected in the water.

The Onondaga County Health Department made the announcement on Tuesday.

There will be no swimming at the beach until the bacteria levels reach acceptable standards.

Jamesville Beach is also still closed to swimmers, due to a harmful algal bloom.
