Onondaga County jail deputy accused of smuggling cell phone into justice center

ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A jail deputy with the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office has been accused of smuggling a cell phone into the justice center.

Investigators say Bo Watson, 27, brought the phone into the jail on several occasions for a third party. He has been charged with promoting prison contraband and official misconduct.

Watson, who has been on the job for four years, has been suspended without pay. He’s due in Syracuse City Court next month.
