Oswego County plans aerial spraying for Friday, Aug. 16

OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Oswego County Health Department has announced that aerial spraying for mosquitos will be done on Friday, August 16th, weather permitting, after 6 p.m.

The area within the green boundaries is where spraying will take place.

The spraying will happen over portions of Hastings, West Monroe and Constantia.

The aerial spraying is being done to reduce the mosquito populations that carry EEE, Eastern Equine Encephalitis.
