Oswego County to host public health program on Lyme disease

FULTON, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Thursday night, the Oswego County Health Department will be presenting a public program on Lyme disease.

Oswego County has seen an increase in the number of confirmed Lyme disease cases from 34 in 2012 to 189 in 2017, so now the county is educating resident on how to prevent exposure to ticks and the diseases they bring with them.

If you want to learn more, then the meeting will take place on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Cayuga Community College in Fulton.
