Tim and Maggie Lott own a 5-acre farm in Corning, New York. They say they have spent the past 18 years building a family and their farm.

Now, they are ready to move and start a new adventure somewhere else.

Instead of selling the property the traditional way, the Lotts has decided to give it away as the grand prize of an essay constest.

This is not a scam. It’s legitimate. The family is partnering with real estate attorneys to make sure the process is fair and legal.

Three judges will decide the winners.

First place receives the property and $10,000, second place gets $1,000, and third place gets $500

The property is valued at $150,000
