Panera Bread is rolling out home delivery at hundreds of its restaurants across the United States, including six in Central New York.
With a menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches, it’s easy to transport, just like pizza, CEO Ron Shaich tells Business Insider.
Two Syracuse chains will deliver — one in Destiny USA and the other on Erie Boulevard — as well as the Panera locations in Auburn, Fayetteville, Cicero and Ithaca.
The delivery can be ordered from areas within an eight-minute drive time of a participating Panera location.
Most cafes will deliver between the hours of 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., seven days a week.
There will be a $3 delivery free in the majority of markets.
