Police: 12-year-old robbed at knife point in Syracuse

A 14-year-old has been accused of robbing a 12-year-old at knife point on Saturday.

Syracuse police were sent to the 200 block of Taft Avenue around 6:30 p.m.

Police say the victim explained that the 14-year-old threatened to stab him and then stole his bike.

The 12-year-old had no injuries. However, his bike was recovered with damage.

The suspect was found at his home and sent to Hilbrook Juvenille Detention Center, pending his arraignment.

He is being charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal mischief.
