Police car and another vehicle involved in Thursday crash

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — We have new information on a Thursday rollover crash involving a police car in the City of Syracuse.

We’re told the crash happened around 6:45 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of South Salina Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

A police car was responding to an apartment fire call when it collided with a Kia Sorento, flipping that vehicle over.

Both the driver and the officer were involved were treated and released for minor injuries.

Two passengers in the Kia were taken to Upstate Hospital for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
