UPDATE: The Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed a preliminary report regarding the death of Theresa Fairly.
At this time, it appears as though Fairly died of natural causes with full results pending toxicology testing.
An investigation that was completed by the Oswego Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division and the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Investigation unit found that there was no evidence of foul play.
OSWEGO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Oswego City police have released the identity of a person found dead at a home in the city Tuesday.
Police say 61-year-old Theresa Fairly was found deceased in her home on West 7th Street shortly before 2 p.m.
City police say they have concluded their preliminary investigation into the unattended death of Fairly with the assistance of New York State Police. Police say they are awaiting the results of an autopsy being conducted by the Onondaga County Medical Examiners office.
