ENDICOTT, N.Y. (AP) — Police say the pilot of a single-engine plane is dead following a crash near the New York-Pennsylvania border.
The Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin reports the plane crashed late Monday morning near the Tri-Cities Airport in Endicott, near Binghamton.
The pilot’s name was not released and there were no details released about the crash.
Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation and Safety Board were headed to the scene Monday.
