Potsdam woman stopped with 77 pounds of marijuana in vehicle

RICHLAND, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A Potsdam woman is facing charges after a traffic stop uncovered 77.65 pounds of marijuana in her vehicle.

Ashley L. Perkins, 32, of Potsdam, is facing a charge of Criminal Possession of Cannabis in the 1st degree after a traffic stop on Interstate 81 in the Town of Richland. The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office found over 77 pounds of marijuana in her car.

Perkins is awaiting arraignment.
