Power nearly restored to CNY locations impacted by storm

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Thousands of National Grid customers were without power after a severe storm swept through Central New York.

A tornado warning was issued for the area around 4:45 p.m. A tornado has not yet been confirmed by the National Weather Service.

As of 10 p.m., power appears to be restored in most neighborhoods.
