ALBANY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A public hearing regarding limo and bus safety will be held in Albany on Thursday.
Beginning at 10 a.m., the State Senate will be holding a hearing following recent incidents regarding the issue.
The deadly limo crash in Schoharie in October of the last sparked a lot of debate about limo and bus safety. The incident took the lives of 20 people.
Governor Andrew Cuomo proposed a ban on all modified stretch limos earlier this year, but the proposal was dropped and not included in this year’s budget.
