Le Moyne College graduates and their families had to cover up in ponchos and umbrellas, trying to stay dry for commencement.
The college hosted a woman they say is the oldest commencement speaker in the country. At 101, Ruth Colvin had some advice for her younger audience.
“Now some of you will live as long as I have, 101,” Colvin said. “That means that you have 70 to 80 years ahead of you to learn. It’s a life-long learning I’ll tell you.”
Le Moyne had a record number of graduates this year. More than 1,000 people crossed the stage Sunday morning.
