ROMULUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – -Thursday morning, family and friends say their final goodbyes to Trevor Irby.
Irby was a Central New York native killed in a mass shooting at a festival near San Jose, California.
The 25-year-old was one of three people killed.
Thursday, friends said they want Irby to be remembered for the amazing person he was.
“Trevor was a superstar. He would walk into a room and he was the kind of person who would want to beat you in any type of competition that was going on. He just wanted to dance and sing and have as much fun as possible with anyone that was there,” said Tally McDonald.
Irby’s funeral was held at Romulus Central School, where he was a 2012 graduate.
