A crash involving a pickup truck, a propane delivery truck and a tractor trailer that shut down a portion of Route 104 in Hannibal has turned deadly.
State Police say around 2:34 p.m., a 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck, operated by 55-year-old, Lyle Wilcox of Fulton was traveling northbound on Route 104 when he crossed over into the southbound lane and struck the tractor-trailer head-on.
The pick-up truck then continued to travel northbound and struck a 2010 Ford propane delivery truck.
Wilcox was pronounced dead at Oswego Hospital by medical personnel.
The tractor trailer driver and the propane truck driver were not badly hurt.
A portion of Route 104 was shut down for several hours while investigators processed the scene.
State Police were assisted at the scene by the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, Oswego County Fire Coordinators, LifeNet helicopter, Hannibal Fire Department, Granby Fire Department, the Town of Ira Fire Department and the Town of Oswego Fire Department.
