Syracuse University relocates some students to have more room for quarantines amid COVID-19 surge

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — To make room for an increase in students needing to isolate or quarantine, Syracuse University is forcing students in the Skyhall II Dorm on the south campus to relocate.

There are 47 new coronavirus cases with 153 active cases, Syracuse University announced Friday.   

The university has confirmed to NewsChannel 9 that SU will post room assignments via its “MySlice” program Friday at noon, and has asked residents to move out by Monday at 8 p.m.
