Syracuse airport receives new funding to protect workers, travelers

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — New funding will take Syracuse’s Hancock International Airport to new heights when it comes to protecting workers and travelers from COVID-19.

Representative John Katko announcing Thursday over $5 million n federal relief. He says that money will cover costs like cleaning, airport operations, and debt service payments.

Starting in exactly one week, domestic travelers will no longer need to quarantine after entering the state.
