SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Members of the Syracuse Fire Department rushed to put out a fire at an apartment complex in Syracuse on Thursday evening.

The call first went out just before 9 p.m. Thursday along the 900-block of South McBride Street, near East Adams and Monroe streets.

It took crews just one minute to respond and over 20 minutes to get the blaze extinguished. Because of the quick response and rapid knockdown, the damage was contained to the 2nd floor apartment where the fire originated.

There is no word on the cause or if anyone was injured.
