Syracuse firefighters knock down a house fire on the city’s north side

House fire on Kenwood Avenue

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse fire crews work for more than a half hour to knock down a house fire on the city’s north side.

Onondaga County 911 tells NewsChannel 9 a fire in the 200 block of Kenwood Avenue started on the second-floor porch just before 8:45 p.m. and spread up into the attic.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
