Syracuse police arrest one of their civilian employees

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse police have arrested one of their civilian employees after members raised concerns surrounding misconduct by Brett Forkhamer.

Forkhamer now faces charges including forcible touching, criminal impersonation, eavesdropping and computer tampering.

He has since resigned as a community service officers.

The case has been turned over to the Onondaga County District Attorney office.
