SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) A Marietta man has been arrested after leaving the scene of a fatal hit and run.
Syracuse police officers responded to a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian around 9:30 Friday night.
A 55-year-old man was struck on South Ave. at East Bissell St. while in the roadway. He later died at Upstate University Hospital.
Police say 43-year-old Charles Lunderman of Marietta left the scene without stopping or reporting the accident. He was later arrested for leaving the scene.
The Syracuse Police Department Traffic Section is continuing to investigate.
