(WSYR-TV) — A Syracuse Police officer suffered minor injuries to his hand and arm after making an arrest in a domestic dispute around 10 a.m. on Sunday at Frisbie Court.
When officers arrived the male suspect Nathanael Carrasquillo, 33, of Syracuse wasn’t at the scene. Carrasquillo returned to the scene and when officers tried taking him into custody, he started fighting with officers.
The officer was treated at the scene.
Carrasquillo was charged with domestic-related criminal mischief, harassment, resisting arrest, and a minor drug charge. Carrasquillo was taken to the Justice Center.
