Teen arrested in connection to Tipp Hill break-ins

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection to a string of car break-ins in Syracuse’s Tipperary Hill neighborhood.

Syracuse Police tell NewsChannel 9 the teenager, whose name has not been released because of his age, has been charged with 37 felonies, consisting of criminal mischief and grand larceny. More charges could be filed.

The most recent break-ins at St. Patrick’s Lofts happened over the weekend. Nine vehicles were broken into and each had items stolen from inside.

There have been 26 vehicles with their windows smashed or damaged in that area since July 10th.
