SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — After taking a year off because of the pandemic, the largest car show in the northeast is returning this weekend starting on July 16. There is much excitement about the event, and local businesses are gearing up for large crowds bringing in business, too.
The event will feature live music, food and more. It will begin Friday, July 16, and run through the weekend.
Registration starts tomorrow, and crowds are already coming in from out of town. The president for “Visit Syracuse” says more than 100,000 people visit each year, bringing in more than $10 million for the local economy.
Even if those numbers are down a little, it’s still a big boost for local businesses who didn’t have this last year.
