Tompkins County Sheriff’s looking for man accused of forcibly touching two women

TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office is stepping up patrols and searching for a man who’s accused of showing a knife and forcibly touching two women in separate incidences. 

The first incident happened on Danby Road near the Fingerlakes Trail on October 14th. The second happened Monday on the Thayer Preserve Trail on Sand Bank Road. 

The suspect is described as a white man in his twenties, about 5’7” with a stocky build. Both times, the suspect was wearing dark clothing and a ski mask.
