Tornado hit Bradford County, Pa. on Wednesday

BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WSYR-TV) — A tornado left behind a trail of destruction in Bradford County, Pennsylvania on Wednesday.

A team from the National Weather Service in Binghamton, New York says the devastation was caused by an EF1 tornado with powerful winds upwards of 100 miles per hour.

The tornado that touched down was over 200 yards wide and damaged many homes and businesses. No one was hurt.

Pennsylvania is still dealing with the after-effects. At one point Wednesday, a stretch of Route 28 was hardly recognizable as the water got so high, emergency crews had to rescue two people from a car.
