Trenton man arrested for animal abuse after dead horse found along road

TRENTON, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an animal cruelty case in the Town of Trenton.

Marvin Miller, 42, of Trenton, was arrested for a violation of agriculture and markets law: “Overdriving, torturing and injuring animals; failing to provide proper sustenance.”

On Thursday morning deputies responded to a scene where they found a dead horse on the side of Korber Road near Thompson Road.

A necropsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.

Miller was issued an appearance ticket and is to return to Trenton Town Court at a later date and time.
