Local News

CENTRAL NEW YORK (WSYR-TV) — Severe weather caused issues for people heading to Tuesday night’s Heart concert at The Amp. The storm came through just as a lot of fans were arriving to park and get to their seats.

The Amp posted on their Twitter account that concertgoers were asked to seek shelter in the pavilion of in their cars. Centro buses also provided a place to dry off.

The concert was delayed by about an hour due to the storms.

The weather also affected those on the water. A viewer sent us video of the Judge Ben Wiles out on Skaneateles Lake as the storm came through.

We spoke with Midlakes Navigation, who told us that there were no issues and the boat made it safely back to the dock.
