SYRACUSE, N.Y (WSYR-TV) — Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh and Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon will be playing two-on-two in a celebrity basketball game on Friday.
The two government leaders will be facing off against Le Moyne President Linda Lemura and basketball coach Nathan Champion. The referee will be none other than new Syracuse Bishop Douglas Lucia.
The event is part of the college’s opening day activities to welcome the Class of 2023 to campus.
The game tips off at 3:30 p.m. in the Le Moyne Event Center.
