Uber to deny riders service if their rating is low

Local News

UNITED STATES (WSYR-TV) — Uber passengers be warned. You could lose access to the ride-hailing service if your rating is too low.

The company announced this week that it will start denying riders access to its service if they have a ‘significantly below average rating.” This includes access to Uber Eats and its e-scooter app, Jump.

A spokesperson says what rating could get you kicked off will vary by city.

Riders will supposedly receive several notifications before their account is deactivated.
