Utica city elementary schools to get special patrol officers

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Utica City School District, bringing special patrol officers to elementary schools.

County Executive Anthony Picente and Sheriff Robert Maciol signed an agreement with Utica City School District superintendent Bruce Karam on Monday, making it official. 

They say special patrol officers will be in all elementary schools in the district.

More information will be released later this week.
