Utica man arrested for menacing deputies with dagger and resisting arrest

Local News

A Utica man was arrested Sunday after allegedly menacing deputies with a dagger.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a domestic disturbance on Sandy Circle in the Town of Floyd.

When they arrived, deputies say 23-year-old Robert Carcone was there, armed with a dagger. Deputies say he refused orders to drop the weapon and was taken into custody after they used pepper spray on him.

Carcone is facing charged of menacing a police officer, criminal possession of a weapon, and resisting arrest.
