Van Buren man arrested for allegedly sharing child porn

A Van Buren man is facing four charges related to child pornography.

David Mott, 43, of Van Buren was arrested by New York State Police with the help of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Child Exploitation Task Force on Monday.

Investigators say Mott traded pornographic images of children online with other people. He was charged with one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child, a felony and three counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, also a felony.

Mott was transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center for centralized arraignment.
