Volunteer: Healthy Cortland event helped more than 3,600 patients

CORTLAND COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Healthy Cortland, which offers medical, dental, eye and veterinary services at no cost, had another successful year caring for roughly 3,608 patients at the Norwich High School and Homer Middle School, according to an event volunteer.

Service members from the Army, Nacy, and Air Force provided around $1.34 million in medical services and procedures from routine physicals, eye exams, dental exams, tooth extractions, and even veterinary care for cats and dogs.

Roughly 21,281 procedures were performed.
